The Orion Nebula (M42) and the Running Man Nebula (NGC 1973/5/7)

The Orion Nebula imaged from the Paint Mines Open Space in Calhan, Colorado. Taken with a TMB92L, Hutech-modified Canon T3i DSLR, Orion SSAG autoguider and 50mm guidescope, and Celestron AVX mount. Consists of 31 300-second light frames, 25 25-second light frames, and 15 5-second light frames, plus darks, flats, and bias frames. Captured with BackyardEOS, stacked in DeepSkyStacker, and processed in Photoshop.
