Solar H-alpha - Area of Interest using a PST mod and Flea Camera. Result of 1000 frames
combined in AutoStakkert and processed in Photoshop. The PST modification involved insertion of its etalon in a Meade 125 mm objective telescope. (Robert Bower and I have been experimenting with ways to improve the PST H-alpha scope modification and insertion into a large objective telescope. After weeks of trial Rob has come up with the ideal optical train to achieve results normally attributed to a 0.4 Angstrom instrument but with a PST 0.7 Angstrom filter.
