I remember as a young boy, my sister would take me out and view the moon and some stars through her telescope. Now as I have gotten older, I realized that i missed viewing the night sky and decided to purchase a Celestron NexStar 8. After learning about it for a couple of years, I decided I needed (wanted to) upgrade my scope to a Celestron 8 HD with the CGEM mount. I also have an Orion APEX 102 scope. I recently sold my Celestron LCM114 scope to a friend to get her started in astronomy. I recently retired and am planning to move to Ecuador to view the night skies south of the Equator.
I am starting to dabble in Astro-photography with my Canon T3i camera. So much fun sharing photos on Facebook and a few astronomy web pages. And people actuallly like some of my photos! Yeah!!!
