Photo taken 6-11-09 about 7:30 pm from Peoria AZ. Venture 76mm Reflector with Kodak EasyShare cx7330 held up to 12 mm lens.This is the 2nd time in the last month a research balloon has been sighted near Phoenix causing mass UFO reports to news stations here.Balloon is researching Gamma Ray emmisions, such as in the Crab Nebula.They launch it from a facility in New Mexico and it lands in the desert near the Arizona/Nevada border.
