IC 2177 - A Wider View

IC 2177 (Sh2-292, Gum 1, RCW 2, vdB 93 and many others) is a large nebulae complex which includes numerous other objects on the border of Monoceros and Canis Major. See the annotated version for various clusters, nebulae and other objects.

Luminance – 8x600s – 80 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x600s – 80 minutes each – binned 1x1

320 minutes total exposure – 5 hour 20 minutes

Imaged over six nights in December, 2021 and January 2022 at the Heaven’s Mirror Observatory (Australia) with a FLI PL16083 on a Takahashi FSQ-106ED at f/3.6 382 mm.
