The Orion Nebula (M42)

Finally got clear skies the last evening of 2010. Finished up the imaging before the fireworks ruined the sky.

Date: December 31, 2010
Exposures: 30
Times: 20 seconds up to 6 minutes (short for bright, long for dim outer)
Camera: Canon 350D (modified) with CLS filter
ISO: 800
Telescope: Orion 80ED piggybacked on Meade LX200 12"
Guiding: Orion SSAG with PHD Guider
Imaged and stacked: ImagesPlus
