This eyepiece projection shot was taken in April, 1997, using the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg's 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain and a Pentax K1000 SLR camera. Comet Hale-Bopp's pseudonucleus and unique parabolic hoods or bow shock waves are clearly visible. The Naylor Observatory is located two miles northwest of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania.
