I have been stargazing since I was a child. My first scope was a Sears brand refractor, about as primitive as Galileo's first scope but it brought much joy and excitement to this kid. I now have two Mak-Casses, a 5 and a 7-inch for serious lunar and planetary observation, and a 6-inch reflector for deep-sky exploration. I occasionally shoot astrophotos with my DSLR and real-time video of celestial objects using my space cameras (BIG FUN). Astrophotography is a budding interest for me but I want to keep things simple (i.e., not TOO expensive, LOL). I am a composer/multi-instrumentalist and one of my fave genres of music is what has been called "space music". I just call it "music for the cosmos". It's cool giving a cosmic concert in my backyard (as long as I don't disturb the neighbors)!
