I first became interested in astronomy as a kid watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos series. In middle school, I built a 6" newtonian reflector and did an astrophotography related science fair project. I continued m interest through high school as a member of the astronomy club. I was a founding member of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club (NOVAC) and then took several physics/astronomy classes in college. I've been an on and off enthusiast ever since. Currently I have a C8 XLT and have been workingon DSLR astrophotography.
