Abell 2666 is a cluster of 32 galaxies located approximately 340 million light-years away in Pegasus. This image is centered on NGC 7768 (UGC 12806 and others), a large elliptical. My favorite is MCG+-4-56-014 (PGC 72600 and others), a spiral with a faint tidal tail near the top center.
Luminance – 38x600s – 380 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
500 minutes total exposure – 8 hours 20 minutes
Imaged November 3rd, 5th and 6th, 2018 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
