Sharpless 2-252

Sharpless 252 (NGC 2174/5, IC 2159, LBN 854 and more) is a large emission nebula located approximately 6,400 light-years away in Orion.

Ha – 19x1800s – 570 minutes – binned 1x1
OIII – 18x1800s – 540 minutes – binned 1x1
SII – 18x1800s – 540 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

1770 minutes total exposure – 29 hours 30 minutes

Imaged from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri (a red zone) over seven nights in November, 2017 with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
