This is NGC7822 and/or Cederblad 214. I like to call it the Devil Nebula because that is what I see when I look at it. It is an emission nebula about 3,000 light years away in the constellation Cepheus. The main star that is responsible for forming the nebula is BD+66 1673, which has a surface temperature of nearly 45000 K and a luminosity ~100000 times that of the Sun.
