I captured this image of an amazingly complex loop prominence afocally through a fellow observer's 40mm f/10 Coronado PST from Cherry Springs State Park on 2012/5/18 at 16:10 EDT. I took the photo, which doesn't begin to do justice to what we were able to see through an eyepiece, with a Canon PowerShot SD980 IS camera set on auto.
