This is an eyepiece projection photograph of the Maginus Sunrise Lunar Ray, a lunar light ray that I had discovered a year earlier on 2001/5/1 (see http://www.lunar-occultations.com/rlo/rays/maginus.htm for further information).  I photographed the event at the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg's Naylor Observatory at approximately 2:30 UT on 2002/5/19 using a 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain, my Pentax K1000 SLR camera, and a 26mm Tele Vue Plössl.  Browse http://www.lunar-occultations.com/rlo/rays/robinsonarticle.htm for further information on lunar light rays.
