Here's a photograph of Earth's shadow, the pink-hued Belt of Venus, which is also known as the anti-twilight arch, and the nearly Full Moon that I took on the evening of 2006/1/12 using my Canon EOS Digital Rebel DSLR and the stock Canon 18-55mm EF-S lens.  The location was a hill to the west of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.  Browse http://amsglossary.allenpress.com/glossary/search?id=antitwilight-arch1 and http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap050809.html for information on the Belt of Venus.
