Sun with many prominences

Location: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

The Sun on the last day of the year and still giving impressive proms (forest like geysers) and with sunspots AR1389 at the eastern limb, Something to watch in the coming New Year.

Equipment: SolarMax40 Refractor, PowerMate 2.5x barlows, P/B LX200ACF 12 in. OTA, CGE mount, PGR Flea3 Ccd, Astronomik Ir filter.
