Since I was already up and about early on the morning of June 22, 2009, I decided to take a ride to Riverside Park in Swansboro North Carolina USA. Once there I walked out onto the board walk along the edge of the White Oak River and proceeded to set my camera up on the tripod to capture a series of images as the Sun was rising. I took approximately 80 images with about 10 seconds between each shot. I later compiled all these into a time-lapse video presentation. This image is one of the many stills as the sun slowly climbed over the distant trees on a Jones Island near the opposite side of the river. Camera used for this was a Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 28-135mm IS USM lens.
