This is a photo of a very old moon (only 20 hours before new) rising from the ancient temple of Parthenon of Athens, Greece (5th century B.C.). It was very dim because it had an elongation from the sun of only 9.5° (it was close to  apogee) and the illumination was just 0.64%. I didn’t even see it through the camera and i just followed my predictions. 12 August 2007, 03:00 UT. Bresser Skylux 70mm F10 refractor, Canon EOS 400D, ISO 400, exposure 0.6 sec. Transparency good.
