What a glorious event last year involving the total solar eclipse which included Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia in its path of totality. The image presents the partial phases, the two diamond rings announcing the onset and conclusion of totality as well as the grand spectacle itself, namely totality.
We are eight days away from the next such spectacle in eastern China!
