Crescent Moon over Turin

This picture shows the two days old crescent Moon few minutes before setting behind the Alps mountains and the Mole Antonelliana dome, symbol of Turin. This monument (167,5 meters high) is named after the architect who built it, Alessandro Antonelli and it houses the National Museum of Cinema that is believed to be the tallest museum in the world. The picture has been taken on June 24, 2009 the celebration day of San Giovanni (or St John), the Saint patron of the city.
