2009, April 09, Shot from my home in Hubert, North Carolina with a Canon EOS 50D. This image is a single exposure at ISO 100, shutter speed 1/160s at prime focus on a Celestron C80ED f/7.5 refractor.
Very low in the sky just clearing the tree tops off in the distance, the air full of dust and tree pollen, and with a thin layer of clouds the full Moon was a beautiful burnt orange glow in the sky.
