At the heart of the Heart Nebula (IC1805) is the open star cluster Melotte 15. Stellar winds and radiation from this cluster shape and energize the surrounding cosmic clouds of dust and gas.
This is a 7 hour narrowband image taken with an 11" EDGE SCT and a QSI583wsg camera.
