The planet Saturn was occulted by the Moon on September 18, 1997.
I made this image with a 5 inch f9 Apochromatic Refracting telescope using the "eyepiece projection" method. (114 x magnification) The Moon was near Full phase and Saturn shone at 0.2 magnitude.
