Jupiter, Ganymede, Great Red Spot, and Oval Ba

Date: 09/11/10, 06:24ut

Location: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

Equipment: LX200ACF 12 in. OTA, F25, CGE mount, PGR Flea3 Ccd, PowerMate 2.5x barlows, Astronomik RGB filter set.

Less then ten days for opposition its closest approach to earth. In this side of the disc the GRS and the Oval Ba is shown and passing the GRS but in the process small clobs of darker materials are being exspelled in front of the GRS. And at right the moon Ganymede has just transited across the disc.
