NGC 2626

NGC 2626 (Ced 106, GN 08.33.7, vdBH 17 and others) is the blue reflection nebula at the center. This is part of the much larger Gum 14 nebula located in Vela.

Luminance – 15x300s – 75 minutes – binned 2x2
RGB – 17:17:18x300s – 85:85:90 minutes each – binned 2x2

335 minutes total exposure – 5 hours 35 minutes

Imaged over twelve nights in March and April, 2023 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a QHY 600M on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
