NGC 1788 - Reflection Nebula in Orion

NGC 1788 is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Orion. It lies approximately 2000 light year away and is flanked by the dark nebula Lynds 1616. It is sometimes referred to as the "Cosmic Bat" nebula.

Telescope: Takahshi TOA130 NFB
Camera: Modified Canon T4i (650D) ; ISO 1600
Mount: iOptron CEM60
Guiding: QHY 5L-II-M on 60mm guide scope
Exposures: 18 @ 5 min.
Processing: Images were captured, aligned, and combined using ImagesPlus. Composite image was adjusted in Photoshop. Topas Detail and DeNoise were applied.
Location: Taken from my backyard observatory in SE Minnesota on 2/26/22
