NGC1931 is a miniature version of the Orion Nebula, as it shares some of the same characteristics. It is a mixed emission-reflection nebula, and contains a smaller version of the Trapezium in its hot young star cluster centered in the emission nebula. Image was taken in Green Valley, Arizona from February 3 thru 5, 2018. Exposures consisted of 13 Luminance, 8 Red, 8 Green, 8 Blue, and 8 HA at 10 minutes each for a total of 7.5 hours. Camera was a QSI683ws with 5 position filter wheel cooled to -20C. Scope was an 11" Celestron EdgeHD at F7 mounted on an AP900 GTO. Mount was guided by a F4.1 guide scope and an SBIG ST-I camera.
