Sharpless 284 (LBN 983 and others) is a large emission nebula located approximately 19,500 light-years away in Monoceros. The stars at the center make up the open cluster Dolidze 25.
Ha – 18x1800s – 540 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
660 minutes total exposure – 11 hours
