Sharpless 2-228

Sh2-228 (LBN 783) is a somewhat bright emission nebula located between 11,400 and 26,000 light-years away depending on the study cited in Auriga.

Ha – 12x1800s – 360 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

480 minutes total exposure – 8 hours

Imaged over four nights in February, 2016 from Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
