IC 4601 (Ced 129) is a complex of blue reflection nebula located in Ophiuchus. The three nebulae that make up this object are also designated as vdB 101 / DG 133, vdB 102 / DG 134 and vdB 103 / DG 135.
The large dark nebula across the center of the image is Barnard 41.
Luminance – 12x600s – 120 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
240 minutes total exposure – 4 hours
Imaged June 9th, 2015 at the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
