This is a four panel mosaic of NGC1499, also known as the California Nebula. It is an emission nebula about 1,000 light years away in the constellation Perseus.

October 4 - December 23, 2014
Location: Rancho Hidalgo, NM
Telescope: TEC-140 (F7)
Camera: SBIG ST-8300M
Mount: AP900 GTO
Luminance: 18x20 minutes (binned 1x1)- Each Panel
Red: 8x15 minutes (binned 2x2) - Each Panel
Green: 8x15 minutes (binned 2x2) - Each Panel
Blue: 8x15 minutes (binned 2x2) - Each Panel
