The Wizard nebula, in Cepheus, surrounds a new open cluster designated as NGC 7380. The new stars in the region produce stellar winds and radiation sufficient to shape the surrounding gas into complex shapes. This image was captured with a 12.5" PlaneWave telescope and a Quantum-Scientific QSI640 camera at f/5.2. Total LRGB integration was about 10 hours from a semi-rural site near Anza, CA on 7/29 and 8/22/2014.
