The Orion Nebula (M42) and the Trapezium

M42 taken with a 10" astrograph at f5 and .86arcsec/px.  Combination of 5sec thru 5min subframes for luminance and 30sec and 120sec subframes for color.  Processed in PixInsight with the High Dynamic Range script to show both the core and the outer nebulossity.  220min total exposure time.  QSI 583 camera with Astrodon LRGB 31mm filters.  Taken on 23 Jan 2011.
