Arp 205

Arp 205 consists of NGC 3448 (UGC 6024, PGC 32774 and others), the galaxy at the center and UGC 6016 (PGC 32740 and others) to the left. Part of Arp’s “Material Ejected From Nucleus” class, these are located approximately 80 million light-years away in Ursa Major.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours

Imaged March 5th, 6th and 9th, 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
