IC 342 - Hidden Galaxy

IC 342 lies in the constellation of Camelopardalis. It covers a wide area of the sky - 21 arcminutes - and would be quite prominent except that it lies very close to the galactic plane and is obscured by much dust. It is difficult to capture. Hence its name.

Telescope: 10 in. TS-Optics Newtonian
Mount: iOptron CEM60
Guiding: QHY-5L-II-M on 60mm guide scope
Camera: Modified Canon 650D (ISO 3200)
Exposures: 36 @ 5 min.
