The Needle Galaxy (NGC 4565)

This is my first time posting an image on Astronomy Magazine.

NGC4565 is an edge-on spiral galaxy about 43 million light years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.

This is 7 hour LRGB image taken with an 11" EDGE SCT and a QSI583wsg camera.

I took the image over 3 nights is March 2015 from my backyard in Calgary Alberta.

Data capture was with ImagesPlus and processing was done in PixInsight
