Dave Eicher’s The New Cosmos wins 2016 PROSE Award

Astronomy Editor David Eicher’s book The New Cosmos: Answering Astronomy’s Big Questions has won honorable mention at the 2016 PROSE Awards, book awards given for excellence in professional and scholarly publishing. The awards are administered by the Association of American Publishers, and are recognized at the group’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Eicher‘s book won honorable mention in the category of popular science writing.

The book has just been published by Cambridge University Press, and you can find it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble.com, and on Cambridge University Press’ website.
