Been into astronomy since age 9 or so, also into ham radio, and graduated Syracuse University 1978 BSEE. rarely get out to skygaze, light pollution so bad around here only stars brighter than magnitude 0 are visible. Did travel to Australia back in 1986 to see Haley's comet, at Ayer's Rock.
