Arp 206 consists of NGC 3432 (UGC 5986, VV 11, VV 11a and others), the long, irregular galaxy and UGC 5983 (VV 11b and others), the dwarf irregular galaxy visually just off the southern edge of NGC 3432. Distance estimates are between 27 and 34 million light-years away in Leo Minor.
