Astrophotographer and frequent Astronomy contributor Dean Salman e-mailed us a picture of him atop Mount Wrightson in Tucson, Arizona. He wrote:
I decided to take up my current issue on my hike up on top of Mount Wrightson. When I reached the top, I left the magazine in the box with other reading materal so others can enjoy it. I suspect it will stay there a number of years to come.
The view I had also shows the MMT observatory. Way back on the right side of the photo is Kitt Peak.
