Bernini's Fontana dei Fuimi

In the Piazza Navona, Bernini’s spectacular Fontana dei Fuimi (Fountain of the Rivers) dates from 1651 and showcases the four major rivers — the Nile, Ganges, Danube, and Rio de la Plata —  from the four then-known continents.
