The difficulty of catching celestial objects with foreground subject is well known to photographers as well as astronomers. Having timed the shot with a once in a lifetime event like solar eclipse is almost inconceivable.
Camera: Canon EOS700D
Lens: EF300mm f/2.8L IS II USM | 300mm • 1/320sec • f/5.6 • ISO200 and EF 2x III Extender.
Filter: Thousand Oaks Optical Glass Solar Filter - Type 2+
Camera was attached to Celestron Telescope Mount (tracking the Sun) with custom made adapter.
For curious minds.. it was Singapore Airlines.. (on time!!!)
