The Evansville Astronomical Society had solar telescopes set up at The Evansville Museum for Astronomy Day on April 25, 2015. In h-alpha there was a giant filament visible near the limb that transitioned into a prominence, giving a very 3D view of this feature. More EAS Astronomy Day pictures are on the EAS website at evansvilleastro.org .
