I was shooting the solar disk with Sunspot Groups AR1528, 1529, 1530, 1532, 1533 and 1534 when a jet suddenly zipped across the disk. I knew seeing was good, but didn't realize how good until the jet passed. There was NO contrail. The atmosphere was so dry it absorbed the contrail as it was emitted from the jet's exhaust ports.
