May 10, 1994 partial solar eclipse (94%)

On May 10, 1994 a Partial Solar Eclipse (94%) was visible from the City of Des Plaines. I documented the event using a 5 inch f9 apochromatic refracting telescope at prime focus. The images represent the entire event at 10 minute intervals. The images are inverted to match the view in an astronomical telescope.

A side note: while I was making this image the State of Illinois was putting convicted mass murderer John Wayne Gacy to death.
