This image was taken in Bryce Canyon National Park seconds before the sun disappeared below the  horizon during the 2012 Annular Solar Eclipse. The equipment used to capture this image was an Explore Scientific 127mm APO refractor on an Orion Sirius mount, an Orion Glass Solar Filter and a Nikon D300 camera. The camera was set on manual exposure, ISO 200, 1/500 sec shutter speed.
