Lunar Eclipse and Iota Tauri

Saturday morning, 12/10/2011, at approx. 0445 PST, I started photographing the last total lunar eclipse until 2014! The temperature up here in Paso Robles Ca. was a chilly 29 degrees but for the most part, the skies were clear with very little atmospheric interference. I used my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS (actually my daughters camera) attached to a Celestron 8 inch Schmidt Cassagrain telescope at F 10. I started shooting at ASA (ISO) 1600 and a shutter speed that ranged from 1/30 sec to finally ending in totality with 1 to 4 second exposures. In image # 121, you can see the star Iota Tauri next to the Moon. Overall, things went well. I took over 160 images but luckily for all of you, I'm only sending out a few...
