For a bit of a different perspective, here's a photo that I took of the 2.2-day-old Moon through my 10" f/4.7 Sky-Watcher Collapsible Dob's 8x50 right angle finder scope on June 3, 2011, from Cherry Springs State Park. A Canon PowerShot SD980 IS camera was used.
