I took this image of the 2.2-day-old crescent Moon afocally from Cherry Springs State Park shortly after 20:50 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 3, 2011, using a 10" f/4.7 Sky-Watcher Collapsible Dob, a 2" 20mm Explore Scientific 100-degree-AFOV eyepiece, and a Canon PowerShot SD980 IS camera.   The image was a bit washed out so I darkened the background sky in Photoshop for aesthetic purposes
