On June 21, 2009, while at one of our local area beaches my wife and I decided to take a little ride to the other side of the island to catch the Sun as it set over the Intra-coastal waters. This particular area is called Alligator Bay at North Topsail North Carolina, and here we're looking back toward the mainland as the Sun slowly sets. For this one I backed off about 150 feet from the water to get the Palms into the picture giving it a little more depth. For this picture I used my Canon EOS 50D and IS 28-135mm IS USM lens.
